Each week I’m lucky enough to not only work with such wonderful brides but I am also very fortunate enough to be able to do the job I love so much in such beautiful locations and stunning venues!

So, thrown into the mixed range of posts that make up this blog there will be a series of wedding “case studies” and I am kicking that off today, showcasing the beautiful Waddesdon Manor, where the gorgeous bride, Rachael tied the knot with her beau, Adrian at The Dairy.

All photos have been captured beautifully by Rachel Takes Pictures.

Despite it still being summer, it was a particularly crisp morning.  There was frost on the ground and mist in the air as I drove through the beautiful countryside of Aylesbury and arrived at The Dairy at Waddesdon Manor just before 7.30am.

I had a particularly busy morning ahead of me with a total of 6 people to look after single-handedly.  There was our lovely bride, Rachael, her 3 bridesmaids and her mother all for hair and makeup.  Lucky number 6 was a lovely young bridesmaid requiring hair to styling and a little “shimmer and gloss.”

The bridesmaids all opted for a similar style of an elegant, textured updo with wisps of hair pulled out to soften the style and frame their faces.

Rachael’s wedding makeup look consisted of a warm, bronzed complexion coupled with a golden, smokey eye.

I added a bold liquid liner and additional lash strips to really enhance the eyes and make them stand out.

Her eye makeup was teamed with a more muted, peach lip colour to ensure it wasn’t too harsh and her hair was styled half up, half down. She decided to accessorize her hair with a gorgeous hair vine which I weaved through her lovely, lengthy curls.

It was definitely one of my busier mornings, and it was indeed fuelled with many cups of coffee but this is EXACTLY how I love to spend my mornings.  I am truly in my element spending time in gorgeous venues with such lovely humans, revelling with them in all the happy wedding morning feels!

I’m pleased to report that the frost melted, the fog lifted, Oh, and of course all members of the bridal party were ready in time for midday.

Despite a rather chilly start it turned out to be an exceptionally beautiful and sunny day and the perfect conditions for a beautiful wedding at the stunning grounds of The Dairy.

Huge Congratulations Rachael and Adrian!

Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your very special day!
